The Department of Civil Aviation on Friday rejected the requirement for a drone pilot’s license to operate drones in the country. According to an official, a Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by a DGCA-approved drone school through the single-window DigitalSky Platform will suffice to operate the drones in India. . The official also said that a remote pilot certificate is not required to operate a 2kg drone for non-commercial purposes.
