Halle Bailey explains why she feels “pressured” to paint Ariel’s portrait

In one exclusive interview with E! Expo D23 news, Halle shared her feelings about playing Ariel in the new Disney version Little Mermaid. Expressing her emotion, the singer said: “I’m so excited about this movie. You know, being here today is surreal. I’m just a fan of all the projects. another project and the fact that I’m going to be a part of something like this. It’s amazing.”
The film was already a huge hit before its release next year, and she can understand that the pressure is on. “I definitely think that because I love this movie so much and I’ve cherished it since I was a little girl, I put a little bit of pressure on myself,” she said. “Just because I wanted to bring back all the sensations that I saw as a little girl.”
Now that they are all grown up, that little girl has transformed into a Mermaid, saying that her mother gave it all away. Halle noted, “Knowing that I gave my all and 110% to everything on this film, I’m really proud of myself.”
And she should after seeing the first teaser of the film at the Disney event. Her adorable reaction was all of us: As the 22-year-old said, “Wow, it was really good.”
