Healthy and delicious Tikki chole burger recipe, shared by Sanjeev Kapoor

On the other hand, fried tikkis stuffed inside a burger can help you feel more relieved when enjoying bland foods. Tikki burgers are growing to become one of the best comfort food in India. So turn it into a healthy side dish with veggies, chickpeas and a variety of Indian spices. Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor shared the recipe for chole tikki burger on his Instagram handle.

Ingredients needed for chole tikki:
Chickpeas, 1.5 cups, boiled
Potatoes, 2 pieces, boiled
Cheese sticks, 1/4 cup
Pomegranate seed powder, 2 teaspoons
Onion, 1 piece, diced
Green chili, 1-2 pieces, chopped
Ginger powder, 1 teaspoon
Garlic, 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder, 2 teaspoons
Coriander powder, 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Garam masala powder, 1 teaspoon
Dill powder, 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala
Coriander, 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
Mint leaves, 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
Lemon, 1/2 piece
Bread crumbs, 1/2 cup
Hot coals
Oil, 1/2 teaspoon
Ingredients for the yogurt chutney:
Condensed yogurt, 1/4 cup, chilled
Toasted cumin powder, 1 pinch
Green chili sauce, 1 tbsp
Ingredients to make burger sauce:
Green chili, 1 piece, thinly sliced
Tomato, 1 piece, thinly sliced
Carrot, 1 piece, thinly sliced
Onion, 1 piece, thinly sliced
Red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon, 1/2 piece
Procedure:

Grind the boiled chickpeas into a coarse and crumbly paste.

Add boiled potatoes and other tikki ingredients. Mix them together.

Mix breadcrumbs with this tikki dough.

Place a bowl of hot coals in the center of the dough and pour in cooking oil to make the dough smoke.

Cover the pot and let it sit for 4-5 minutes to let the coal smoke infuse into the dough.

Prepare the yogurt chutney with chilled yogurt, cumin powder, and green chili sauce.

Discover tikki cake dough. Roll the dough into tikki-shaped balls.

Deep fried in tikkis oil.

Bake the avocado burger.

Spread the yogurt chutney over the burger.

Then put tikki.

Place a slice of cheese on top of the tikki.

Top with vegetable mixture.

Spread the yogurt chutney over another piece of burger and place it on top.
