- To start with the recipe, heat the oil in a kadhai, add the mustard seeds, urad dal, methi leaves, and a few curry leaves. Let them all splash together.
- Now, add a cup of rava and roast over medium heat. Roast for at least 3-4 minutes or until fragrant and lightly browned.
- Now, add 1/2 cup of shredded coconut along with the salt and mix well.
- Once done, add 2-3 cups of boiling water, and keep the flame to medium. Continue stirring and make sure there are no lumps.
- After a while, apply the oil to your hands, take a small portion from the mixture and form it into small balls. Make a small hole in the center of the ball using your thumb.
- Steam the pundis for 10-15 minutes and they are ready to enjoy!
