Hyderabad woman allegedly committed suicide after fighting with her husband for wearing a shirt

According to reports, a woman died by suicide in Hyderabad because she was upset that her husband, a seamstress, had not made a blouse according to her wishes.
Vijayalakshmi, 35, was found dead in her bedroom after arguing with her husband about the blouse he sewed for her.
Vijayalakshmi used to live with her husband Srinivas and their two school children at Golnaka Thirumala Nagar in Amberpet area in Hyderabad.
Srinivas make a living selling saris and blouse material by going door to door and making clothes at home. He was said to have sewn a blouse for Vijayalakshmi yesterday, but she didn’t like it and the couple argued about it.
Vijayalakshmi reportedly wanted Srinivas to sew the shirt back but he refused. This offended Vijayalakshmi.
Later, when the children came home from school, they found the bedroom door closed. They kept knocking on the door but no response.
When Srinivas was informed, he rushed home to find the door bolted from the inside. After repeatedly knocking on the door with no response, Srinivas was forced to open the door. At that time Vijayalakshmi was dead.
Local residents immediately informed the police, who rushed to the spot. Police said they have registered a case related to this connection and are investigating the matter further.
