He will also miss the Opening Test with visiting New Zealanders starting on Thursday but will return to lead the team in the second and final Test in Mumbai, which begins on December 3. Kohli has had a packed schedule and is taking a break from the hectic life of a biobubble but that hasn’t stopped him from hitting the hard courts and continuing to sweat. The Indian superstar on Tuesday shared a few pictures from his training session at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai and he was also given a surprise visit by a ‘cool cat’. .

Kohli captained India for the last time on the T20Is team at the T20 World Cup. Before the ICC started, Kohli announced that he would step down as India’s T20I captain.
The tournament also marked the end of head coach Ravi Shastri’s tenure. However, India failed at the T20 World Cup, unable to qualify for the semi-finals after finishing third in Group 2 in the Super 12 stage behind rivals Pakistan and New Zealand.
India has left itself a mountain to climb after losing its opening two games to Pakistan and New Zealand. That means India is left behind needing support from some other teams, but nothing will happen with India having to start early.
