India vs New Zealand 3rd T20I: Rohit Sharma becomes second hitter to hit 150 six in T20Is

Rohit Sharma won for the third time in a row and was selected to hit the ball on the flat floor at Eden Gardens in Kolkata in his third T20 international match against New Zealand, looking to provide his team with some real necessary to set big goals. India have struggled to win the matches, beating the first team in the T20Is and leading to their early elimination from the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, following defeats to Pakistan and New Zealand in the Super round. 12. Rohit and opening partner Ishan Kishan gave the home team a good start, as they hurled caution against the wind and unleashed a fierce attack on New Zealand’s speed attack.
India won 69 runs in the power match as Rohit and Kishan hit the boundary at will. While Kishan is undefeated 29 of 19 serves after his first six passes, his captain has had 39 of 17 serves. Rohit hit three major six-pointers in the power game and the last of those took him to 150 six-pointers in the international T20 tournament.
It came from Lockie Ferguson’s pitch when Rohit made a short serve into the stands through the space between the square post and the deep-footed puncher. New Zealand opener Martin Guptill leads the list with 161-six and could add more to his tally as he comes out later in the evening. Rohit is now the only second player to surpass the 150-goal mark. West Indies’ Chris Gayle is in third place with a maximum of 124 points named. The next Indian on the list is Virat Kohli, who is pretty far away with a 91-six in his name.
The scenario soon changed for India as reserve New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner introduced himself in attack and picked up consecutive snaps from Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant.
