Direct auction of IPL 2022: Harshal Patel was bought for a whopping Rs 10.75 crore Royal Challengers Bangalore after Rajasthan Royals started the second round with a bang by picking Shimron Hetmyer and Devdutt Padikkal on Day 1 of the Indian Premier League grand auction. The 15th edition of the league is likely to kick off at the end of March but before that, this auction will decide how the teams participate over the next few seasons. IPL powerhouses like CSK, MI, KKR kept four players and entered the auction with lighter wallets along with DC, who also kept four and had the least amount of money to spend in the auction. this.
