Is health food really good for health? Famous nutritionist sells her body 3 common myths
Admittedly, we all know how important it is to eat nutritious foods to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Healthy eating and healthy living go hand in hand. This is why, most of us pay attention to what we eat every day. Besides that, we also like to keep up to date with all the health and diet related news available on the internet. Every day, we come across various ads, posts and videos explaining the goodness of certain healthy foods. Through these articles, many of us include those food products in our diet to make it healthier. But have you ever wondered if those food products are healthy (or not)?! To make it easier for everyone, Celebrity Nutritionist Lovneet Batra took to Instagram to debunk some of the most common myths that have persisted for years.
Nutritionist Lovneet Batra shared a post on her Instagram handle that reads: “There are a lot of myths when it comes to healthy eating. And, just because it looks healthy doesn’t mean it So here are 3 foods that may not be as healthy as their marketing claims made them famous.” Let’s take a look.

Here are three unhealthy foods:
1. Sugar-free alternatives-
Sugar-free alternatives are used to mimic the sweetness of sugar, but that doesn’t make them a healthy food. These artificial sweeteners can increase your overall calorie intake, make you crave real sugar, cause insulin resistance, and alter the gut microbiome.
2. Refined oil-
Refined oil (or vegetable oil) is one of the commonly used ingredients in our kitchens. But unfortunately, not everything from vegetables is a healthy food. Partially hydrogenated vegetable oils can raise bad cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease.
3. Ready-made smoothie bowl-
Ready-made smoothies can be packed with nutrients and seem like an easy way to reach your health goals. But did you know that they pack a ton of added sugar and extra juice from the concentrate?! These factors then make these smoothies unhealthy.
Considering this, we recommend that you always make an informed decision before adapting to any changes in your diet or lifestyle. “Remember, the most powerful nutritional tool you have is the knowledge of what you are eating,” concludes Lovneet Batra.
