Jio users can now order a Permanent Guide to Prepaid Recharge via UPI Auto Debit
Jio users can now set regular instructions to automatically debit their tariff plans through UPI after binding between telecom player and NPCI.
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Jio in a joint announcement said that UPI AUTOPAY has now been introduced to the telecommunications industry with Jio.
This will allow Jio customers to set up permanent instructions on the MyJio App, use UPI AUTOPAY for their favorite tariff plans and a simple top-up experience.
Jio’s integration with UPI AUTOPAY has made it the first player in the telecommunications industry to operate with the unique e-authorization feature offered by NPCI, the entities said in a statement.
For deposits up to Rs. 5,000, customers don’t even have to enter their UPI PIN when making a deposit, the announcement added, adding that users can also create, modify and remove e-authorization for packages according to their requirements. through UPI AUTOPAY.

Jio users won’t need to remember the recharge renewal date or bill payment date and do it manually, said Kiran Thomas, Director, Jio.
