Anthony Joshua isn’t phased by Francis Ngannou’s knockout prediction for their fight this Friday night March 8th on DAZN PPV. The start time for the Joshua vs. Ngannou event will be at 10:30 a.m. ET in the U.S. and 3:20 p.m. UK.
Those aren’t ideal times for both countries, especially on a Friday, but oh well. With the Saudis paying Joshua and Ngannou loads of dough, the promoters can afford for the event to bring in poor numbers in the U.S. and UK.
Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) welcomes Ngannou to come slug with him because he believes he can stop him. AJ seems more aggressive now after his three confidence boosters that his promoter Eddie Hearn has put him in with to rebuild after his two defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.
Hopefully for Joshua’s sake he isn’t wreckless because this isn’t Otto Wallin or Jermaine Franklin he’s facing this Friday night. Ngannou can punch, and he has a lot more talent than those fighters. Power-wise, Ngannou is on the same level of Deontay Wilder, but with superior technical skills, frame, chin and self confidence.
Wilder has never been cut out for the heavyweight division with his thin frame, and it was a matter of time before he was found out. Tyson Fury has made a career from his wins over Deontay. Ngannou is a different story, and could be Joshua’s worst nightmare this Friday.

Joshua’s Own Knockout Intentions
“I believe I can knock him out. Yeah, I would love to knock him out and make a statement,” said Joshua.
If Joshua goes for the knockout, he will put his chin on the line against the counter-punching Ngannou, and he could live to regret it.
