After traveling outside for a while, we got homesick and started to miss that ‘ghar ka khana’. Whether you are traveling within India or visiting a foreign location, at the end of the day we want to enjoy our favorite Indian food. Be it dal chawal, roti sabzi, or even khichdi- whatever seems comfortable at the time. And Kareena Kapoor finds comfort and solace in a bowl of chicken biryani! The actress is currently in London with her family. She checked in to the UK last week and since her trip started she has been sharing her moments with fans. From drinking her favorite coffee at a cafe to attending a The Rolling Stones concert, Kareena and Saif are truly having the best time.

Chicken Biryani Recipe: This is how to make Chicken Biryani
Marinate chicken with curd, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and salt. Place the pressure cooker over low heat, and add the cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, anise, cardamom, cloves, ginger-garlic, and minced onion. When the onion is soft, add the marinated chicken and mix well. Next, add tomatoes and green peppers, stir well. When the tomatoes are mushy, add the red chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, and black pepper. Put the soaked rice in the pressure cooker, cover with water. Add rice and chicken to cook. Take it out after two whistles and enjoy!
