Kerala Man, evacuated from Ukraine, wants to name his baby after Ganga . surgery

A Kerala man, with his pregnant wife, is stuck in Kyiv during the ongoing Russo-Ukraine war as he tries to move to safety with the help of staff members. Indian embassy during Operation Ganga.
Abhijit, who was from Kerala, later arrived safely in Rzeszow in Poland in a shelter set up by the Indian Embassy in Poland.
Interacting with the ANI from the Polish-Ukrainian border, Abhijit appeared happy to have escaped the onslaught.
“My wife is hospitalized in Poland. She is 9 months pregnant. The latest report from the hospital says that my wife and child are both healthy and doing well in the hospital. Estimated time My baby is due on March 26 and I have decided. Abhijeet told ANI to name my unborn baby Ganga after the rescue operation launched by India,” Abhijeet told ANI. , and added that he will be going to India while his wife has to stay in the hospital in Poland for medical safety reasons.
Abhijit ran a restaurant in Kyiv and was trapped in the war after which he was rescued from Ukraine.
“I’m running a small restaurant in Ukraine (Kyiv). I was stuck in Kyiv and with the help of officials who were working on Operation Ganga I was rescued and taken to Ba. Lan is safe. I thank them and the Government of India,” Abhijit told ANI.
Expressing happiness at the efforts of the Indian government, “I didn’t spend a dime from Ukraine (Kyiv) to Poland (Rzeszow).”
India launches Operation Ganga to rescue Indians from war-torn Ukraine. After that, the Indian Air Force joined the rescue operations to raise the level of the rescue exercise.
Operation Ganga is an ongoing Government operation to provide humanitarian assistance and evacuate Indian citizens from Ukraine amid Russia’s ongoing military operations in Ukraine.
