Kyle Elwin appointed People and Culture Lead at Merlin
MerlinThe global rights agency for independent brands, has appointed Kyle Elwin as the newly created People & Culture Team Leader.
Based in New York City, Elwin will report directly to Jeremy Sirota, CEO of Merlin, which says their membership represents 15% of the music market.
Merlin says the role of Team Leader for People & Culture “is key as the company has doubled in size since 2020, with a global team now spanning four countries and nine cities”.
In previous roles, Elwin has supported teams working with brands ranging from McDonald’s, Starbucks, Walmart and Disney, to HBO, Hulu, SpotifyAirbnb and JetBlue.
Elwin previously worked at mParticle, a B2B customer data platform, as a Human Resources Business Partner.
There, she worked with teams across the organization to identify improvements and create solutions.
During her time at mParticle, she also led diverse and inclusive practices and programs.
Merlin says Elwin helped elevate mParticle to Crain’s “Best Places to Work in NYC” list every year from 2016 to 2020.
In addition, according to Merlin, during her nearly four-year tenure, she oversaw the company’s restructuring and growth as it more than doubled in size.
