Leaked image reveals future Turkish fighter jet
An image of Turkey’s first domestically developed fighter jet has been leaked ahead of the official demonstration. AtmosphereTürkHaber report.
The Turkish MMU (Milli Muharip Ucak) futuristic fighter jet, also known as the TF-X aircraft, has been filmed at the final assembly line of Turkish Aerospace.
The new aircraft will officially make its first public debut in 2023, and its first flight is expected to take place in 2024.

The MMU is planned to remain in the Turkish Air Force’s depot until the 2070s and will be able to interact with other important assets such as the F-16.
The main contract for the MMU indigenous design and development program between the Deputy Minister of Defense Industry (SSM) of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey and Turkish Aerospace was signed on 5 August 2016 .
The MMU will be a multirole aircraft, designed primarily for the air-to-air role and also taking into account the air-to-ground role.
