Warren: Liam Williams has to jump on him
“Listen, I like Liam. We promoted him, and he started his career with me. If Liam goes out and jumps on himI think he can give him a lot of problems, but if he fights like he resisted [Demetrius] Andrade, then he’s going to have problems in that fight,” promoter Frank Warren told Secondsout in Williams’ match against Eubank Jr. on Saturday night.
“He had to take everything away from Chris Eubank,” Warren continued. “Chris Eubank Jr is not a big boxer. He’s gained weight, and I just think Liam basically must give it all. He can win that war.
“It’s all about what Liam Williams showed on the night, and if it’s the Liam Williams that I’ve seen in the ring doing some really good things.
“If Liam shows up, he can win the match, but he absolutely has to stamp his rights from round one,” Warren said of the winning key for Williams.
