Lynette Romero discusses first day looking for new program after KTLA Exit

On October 10, a former KTLA employee made her working debut on KNBC’s Today in LA morning program.
“Today is 10/10”, Lynette speak together with the anchor Adrian Arambulometeorologist Belen De Leon and traffic anchors Robin Winston at 4 a.m. “I’ve been waiting for 10/10 like you can’t believe it. I say this with tears in my heart. It’s interesting. It’s refreshing. It’s a bit scary because there are so many eyeballs out there.”
After delivering the news for three hours, Lynette and her colleagues Live on Facebook and reflect on the new chapter in her career.
“It feels great to be here,” she said. “And to be honest, obviously 24 years in a station, I grew up there. I lived there all my life as an adult. I was there when I was engaged, married, had a daughter. . Everything that I’ve done in my life, which is really important to me, I’ve done in the last 24 years living in Los Angeles. That’s why it’s home to me.”
