Miami Marlins hires Skip Schumaker as new manager
The Miami Marlins has hired Skip Schumaker as the team’s new manager, the team announced Tuesday.
As a first-time manager, Schumaker played 11 seasons in the professional leagues, with the first eight coming to St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of two World Championship Cardinals teams in 2006 and 2011.
