New York Auto Show 2023: 2025 Ram 1500 REV | Daily driving | Consumer Guide® The Daily Drive
The Ram 1500 REV 2025 made its official debut at the 2023 New York Auto Show. Ram’s parent company, Stellantis, is making some big announcements about this all-new all-electric pickup, including the range. Drive is targeted at up to 500 miles along with a maximum payload and towing capacity of 2,700 and 14,000 lb, respectively.
From a design perspective, it’s surprising that the front end is not much different from the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept Launched at Consumer Electronics Show 2023. Illuminated Ram headlights and logos set the REV apart from its petrol-powered cousin and look sharp. While we criticize the concept for not breaking any other new stylistic foundations, sadly, the production model introduced in New York is yet another setback. In addition to the available lights From behind the A-pillar, it will be difficult to distinguish it from the regular Ram 1500.
Buyers can choose between two battery sizes. The standard 168 kilowatt-hour (kWh) package is expected to offer up to 350 miles of range. The 500-mile option is expected to be 229 kWh. Both will offer support for 800-volt DC fast charging up to 350 kilowatts, which Ram says can provide a range of up to 110 miles in about 10 minutes. The truck could use two-way charging to power another Stellantis-branded electric vehicle, the owner’s home, or even the grid itself. Acceleration from 0-60 mph is expected to be 4.4 with horsepower and peak torque expected at 654 and 620 pound-feet, respectively. Steering feel and handling should be decent, thanks to an automatically balanced four-angle air suspension with an independent multi-link rear setup. Limited autonomous driving will be available with Hands-Free Active Driving Assist and ParkSense Automatic Parking.
Available interior technology includes a configurable 12 or 14.5-inch touchscreen with split-screen capability. The new 10.25-inch touchscreen on the passenger side allows occupants to view the vehicle’s exterior cameras, navigation system, or plug in external devices via the included HDMI port. REV will also apply a digital key that uses the owner’s smartphone to access and start up.
The trim level structure for Ram REV increases through Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited and Tungsten. As the new flagship, Tungsten will feature breathable, quilted leather seats; suede roof, sun visor and A/B pillars; Driver and front passenger seats with 24-way power adjustment with memory and massage; and 23-speaker sound system.
Look for the Ram 1500 REV 2025 to go on sale sometime in 2024. Expect pricing to be in line with other all-electric trucks from Ford and General Motors, so there’s a chance to get started. from about $55,000 and from there goes into the stratosphere.

CG says:
Our thoughts on the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV concept largely apply to the production model. REV looks like it will take the stellar roots of gasoline-powered trucks and build on them for the age of electrification. We hope it can deliver on its promise of a range of up to 500 miles. Too bad the company didn’t do more with the exterior styling. It doesn’t have to be as radical as Chevrolet’s Silverado EV, but it can at least look a bit more like the Revolution concept.
