No one can compete financially with them
Liverpool can’t compete with City of ManchesterTheir financial strength, coach Jurgen Klopp said on Friday, adding that their Premier League rivals and several other clubs “can do what they want.”
Second-placed City visit Liverpool in the most anticipated Premier League weekend clash on Sunday as they are 13 points ahead of Klopp’s side, who have a game in hand.

When asked how Liverpool can keep up with Pep Guardiola’s side, who won the Premier League for the fourth time in five seasons in May, Klopp replied that no one can.
“You won’t like the answer, and you all have it. No one can compete with Man City on that,” he said.
“You have the best team in the world and you have the best striker on the market. Whatever the cost, you do it.

“I know Man City won’t like it, nobody likes it, you’ve asked the question but you know the answer. What do Liverpool do? We can’t act like them. It’s impossible.”
Man City sign Norwegian striker Erling Haaland are from Borussia Dortmund in a deal reported to be worth £51 million ($56.97 million) in the summer but a multi-year deal, including his salary, could exceed 300 million euros.
“There are three clubs in world football that can do what they want financially,” said Klopp. He is referring to United Arab Emirates owner of the City, majority Saudi ownership of Newcastle United Football Club and Paris Saint-Germainhas a Qatari owner.
“It’s legal and everything, fine, but they can do what they want. That’s not a problem for me, it’s like it is.”
