ONErpm launches global music publishing service, ONE Publishing, partnering with multiple PROs worldwide
ONerpm, best known to date for its distribution and services to indie artists and labels, has launched a music publishing management service for customers.
As MBW explained in a feature on US-based ONerpm last monthThe company has enjoyed exceptional success in Latin America over the past 12 years, claiming surprising market shares in key LatAm territories such as Brazil.
The rest of 2022 will see the company prioritize international expansion, as recently demonstrated by the opening five new offices across Africa. (As things stand, ONerpm operates in approximately 30 territories, employing a global workforce of approximately 450 people.)
Complementing this strategy is the launch of a new publishing administration service, ONE Publishing, which ONErpm says will “allow musicians and publishers (copyright holders) to manage catalogs and collect money.” publishing copyrights from around the world easily and transparently”.
ONE Publishing is being made available to both ONErpm premium distributed artists and labels, along with DIY distribution accounts that meet certain criteria.
Over the past three years, ONerpm says it has developed the technology needed to register, identify and manage compositions that comply with international standards.

To launch ONE Publishing, ONErpm partnered with Performance Rights Organizations (PROs), Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) including BMI, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, SESACHFA, MLC and MusicReports (all in the US), along with regional partners like UBC in Brazil, SACM in Mexico, SAYCO in Colombia, LatinAutor in Latin America and Unison in Europe.
ONerpm also said its publishing business has entered into direct deals with DSPs such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple, DeezerLyricfind and MusixMatch.
Heading ONerpm’s publishing arm is Diego Maldonado, who previously served as Colombia’s Country Director for the past seven years. There, he directly oversaw a team of 40 employees and led ONerpm to achieve a local market share of 20%.
Maldonado will continue to report to ONErpm founder and CEO, Emmanuel Zunz, in his new role.
