According to a press release from the Polish arms company Mesko, the company has signed an agreement with the Norwegian armed forces to manufacture hundreds of launchers and Piorun missiles.
The Polish company’s vice-president, Przemysław Kowalczuk, noted that “the contract was the result of an open tender in which we competed with European and American suppliers” but in that “the offer” ours [was] much better than our competitors’.
“We received very good offers from several suppliers, but we decided that Piorun offered the best balance of cost, features and delivery time,” said Norwegian Brigadier General Jarle. Nergård said.
