Porsche Australia is recalling the total 405 examples its purely electric Taycan due to a problem with the front seat harness may be damaged when moving the seat.
This recall affects regular Taycan sedan, as well as the Taycan Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagon variants built between 2019 and 2021.
“The protective fabric of the front seat belts may be damaged when adjusting the seat,” the company said in the recall notice.
“If this happens, it will activate the airbag warning light in the instrument cluster.”
If you own an affected vehicle, you will need to contact your favorite official Porsche Center to schedule an appointment for a free repair.
