These two Santa Fe variants are powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine manufacturing 132kW/265Nmone electric motor manufacturing 44.2kW/264Nmand a 1.49 kWh . polymer lithium-ion battery pack. The total system output is 169kW power and 350Nm of torque.
The most advanced Santa Fe Highlander Hybrid is the first variant in the lineup to offer a six-seat option instead of the traditional seven. This no-cost option replaces the second row of seats for the two captains.
Prices and specifications for the rest of the range remain unchanged after a price increase for most of Hyundai’s models in August of this year.
By the end of October this year, Hyundai has sold a total of 3583 Santa Fe units. It was outsold by the Toyota Kluger (sales 10,989), Mazda CX-9 (sales 5916), Kia Sorento (sales 5574) and Mazda CX-8 (4905 sales).
