PUBG: Battlegrounds tends to receive surveillance drones on January 12
PUBG: Battlegrounds will have drones support your team and have another means of winning a war. Drone surveillance is highlighted in a new trailer. Games like PUBG: New State already have drones to give players a tactical advantage. According to Krafton, PUBG Battlegrounds will be free to play for all users starting January 12. While the game will be free to download and play, Krafton is said to be limiting certain items and game modes to with paid players.
An introductory video is posted above PUBG: Battlegrounds Facebook page. The short clip shows a group of players hiding and planning their move. Unknowingly, they are being followed by a surveillance drone piloted by another player. A similar trailer was also tweeted earlier this week, in which the developers shared One clip shows a radio-controlled surveillance drone, a remote control, a map and a bag.
This feature is expected to come to PUBG: Battleground on January 12th, the day the game will convert to the free-to-play model, follow Krafton. The game is priced at Rs. 999 on Steam in India. While it will be free to download, some items along with select game modes will be exclusive to paid gamers.
Meanwhile, Krafton is continue with strict countermeasures against cheating players in Battlegrounds Mobile India. It banned more than 71,000 accounts in the week ending January 2. The developer banned more than two thousand accounts in a one-month period. These players’ devices are being permanently banned from the battle royale mobile game.
