RBI will conduct a mutable repo rate auction today
Mumbai:
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct an overnight variable rate buyback auction on a liquidity adjusted basis (LAF) for the amount of Rs 75,000 crore on Monday.
The reverse date is January 25, 2022, the RBI said in a statement.
On January 20, RBI conducted an overnight variable rate repo (VRR) auction of Rs 50,000 crore.
The central bank said it would continue to rebalance liquidity conditions in a non-disturbing manner while maintaining adequate liquidity to meet the needs of the manufacturing sectors of the economy.
