Robeisy Ramirez versus Isaac Dogboe, how to see?
Event Ramirez vs. Dogboe will take place this Saturday, April 1 on ESPN+ at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event begins at 9:00 p.m. ET.
“Once I have a chance to unify, I think who is the best featherweight in the world will become pretty clear, but right now I won’t go into that. I will let the results speak for themselves,” said Robeisy Ramirez fight when asked if he is the best featherweight in the world.
“Wait until April 1st. i want to have that [WBO 126-lb] slung over his shoulder and raised his hand. Of course, there are different experiences, amateur and professional. I can’t get ahead of myself until I win that belt, and once I do, I can go back and compare feelings and experiences, but yeah, I’ll answer that question.
“Ismael Salas has certainly been of great help in my transition from amateur to pro in boxing and the like. But in terms of me sitting down with my punches, I also have to acknowledge my strength and conditioning, Larry Wade and the rest of the team.
“They all contributed to this transition and what I was able to show game after game after I gathered this habit.
Robeisy said of Dogboe: “If he comes looking for the left hand, he will definitely find it. “I haven’t really decided on Salas yet, but what would I do between the two options you give him, but regardless, he’s going to run into that left-hander,” said Robeisy when asked if he plans to fight. Fight Dogboe on the inside or the outside.
“It’s definitely a different stage than the amateur stage. [to the pros]. We both changed the way we talk about Shakur more than Andy [Cruz]. He is [Shakur Stevenson] gained weight and did great things in boxing. He looks very good in his career.
“That I was the last to beat him in the amateurs, I really don’t want to keep thinking about it. The results speak for themselves. We have a good relationship. Now we are tough fighters doing different things, and again, I have a good relationship with him and wish him nothing but the best.
“I definitely think he can. I think Shakur can gain weight and be successful against all the names you mentioned. He is very muscular and very young. I believe he is 25 years old. So there’s a lot of room for improvement there.
“Even in my case, I am a few years older than Shakur and even my own body is changing and evolving into who I am. I think 135 at most,” said Robeisy when asked how much weight he could gain.
“Who knows? I don’t think it’s going to happen, but it could,” said Robeisy of the day he moved from two weight classes to lightweight to take on Shakur in a rematch.
“There is a chance he will go down. We just have to see how the first few rounds go and then I’ll know for sure,” said Robeisy of whether he’ll take down Dogboe. “I have not yet sat down with my coach to discuss with him what we are doing from a tactical point of view.
“Once that’s done, I’ll have a clear picture of how this is going to play out. I’ll just add to that how the last three knockouts played out. They see it coming. Yes, it is possible, very possible.
“It all depends on how the war goes. You’re right. These are difficult styles. Not just for me but for anyone. It might be a good idea to give them some of their own medicine.
“Some of these fighters when they react that way, you start taking them down and finding that hole, and that changes the narrative of the fight,” said Robeisy.
