Ronaldo scored in a Man United shirt again after being disciplined

MANCHESTER, UK – It ended up being the usual 3-0 win for Manchester United over Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League on Thursday night.

1. Man United progress and set up a duel with Real Sociedad

Manchester United were expected to beat FC Sheriff and they did, with a result that guaranteed progress to the Europa League knockout stages – but there are still plenty of conditions left in the final leg of the group stage matches and the trip ahead. Real Sociedad next week.

Marcus Rashford then doubled the lead for Man United in the 65th minute.

The team conceded a goal before Luke Shaw’s pass found Rashford’s head.

After trying all night, the first half ended if not for Koval to save, Cristiano Ronaldo finally scored himself in the 80th minute.

His header was blocked by Koval, but Ronaldo kept up to make the touch.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag asked if Antony’s first-half substitution was a response to his fanfare: “No. It’s more or less planned if we work together. I’d like to see Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo close together and the dynamism on the right side.”
