Saudi Arabia to set up 59 logistics zones by 2030, boost port capacity
At an event in London organized by the Saudi Directorate of Transport, Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics and Acting President of the agency Rumaih Al Rumaih said the kingdom aims to become one of Top 10 countries in logistics performance index by 2030.
“We have made significant strides in improving the marine environment and we are pleased to promote our partnership with IMO. [International Maritime Organisation] and member states on initiatives to promote climate action and cooperation among seafarers,” he was quoted as saying by Saudi media.
