Accusations have begun again Shazam! Wrath of the Gods‘ non-heroic performance at the box office. And like all things DC Universe in this awkward transition to a new era under the leadership of DC Studios James Gunn and Peter Safranit’s getting pretty messy.

Johnson has bet fans’ appetites fuel Cavill’s return in the Man of Steel – that thing almost diduntil it a lot did not — and perhaps envision that Superman would make a more prestigious adversary for his villain than goofy Shazam.
Furthermore, The Wrap reports that when Safran and director David F. Sandberg tried to recreate the same post-credits scene because Shazam! Wrath of the GodsJohnson has excluded the use of any Black Adam Justice Society actors. Safran and Sandberg must use two federal agents – Amanda Waller’s team members from Gunn’s peace series — to recruit Shazam, instead of any real JSA hero.
The epilogue, it’s important to note, comes at a hot moment for the blame game in Hollywood, leaving much of Johnson to undermine both series by denying this link and insisting on placing wrong bet on Cavill, and continues to trash the actor’s arrogance at length. But there is still controversy about the extent of the impact of the post-credit scene in Black Adam – which one works better Shazam! 2but still struggled to break even — could have saved the movie’s fortunes later.
