Sony releases the movie Gran Turismo Sneak Peek
Sony released a trailer for the upcoming Gran Turismo movie last night during its CES 2023 press conference, and as expected, the movie is packed with high-speed vehicles.
Starring David Harbor (Strange things), Orlando Flower (Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings), and David Barnet (I have never), and directed by Neil Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie), Gran Turismo is based on a true story. That story is about the GT Academy competition, a real competition held from 2008 to 2016 by Sony and Nissan. The winners were entered into the Nissan Driver Development Program, as noted by Video Game Chronicles. The series seems to be telling the story of someone who got a spot on this show and then became a real success in the racing world.
