Driven to the front for speed by jockey Flavien Part, SPEED BOARD (Bayern–Sophia Mia, by Pioneerof the Nile) always a great customer while located just off the slopes of Playtime (Not this time). The pair raced a lap or two around the far turn, started parallel, and it looked like Speedboat Beach would pass by. Game time returned to the fence with a long run but Speed Boat Beach found more to narrowly dominate. The win gave Flavien Prat the fourth of the day. The 2-year-old ponies covered a mile in 1:35.38. Lifetime record: 4-3-0-0.
