Steam sets a new record with over 27 million concurrent active users; Cyberpunk 2077 Become a Global Top Seller
Steam has broken another record for the number of accounts logged in at the same time. The number of accounts that are simultaneously logged into the Valve launcher has passed the 27 million mark, according to Steam Database statistics. The database site also reports that of these, about 7.8 million accounts were playing a game at the time. Separately, Cyberpunk 2077 has become a global best seller with around 23,300 very positive reviews by players on Steam. Cyberpunk 2077 is released on December 10.
SteamDB count That 27,384,959 logged in Valve launcher on Sunday, November 28. This is the highest number of concurrent users for Steam. The database also mentions that nearly 7.8 million accounts were in the game at the time it was counted. Since the launcher by default automatically logs in when the PC boots, many users may have just turned on their device and not yet used Steam.
The database also mentions that CS GO there were 915,791 active players during this time period, DOTA 2 there are 677,744 active players and PUBG there are 344,841 active players. Halo: Infinite there are 146,212 active players.
