That’s why we’ve come up with a delicious recipe that will save our daily tea time. It is a crispy south Indian snack called matar Mysore bonda.

Winter brings healthy chickpeas into season, and a delicious way to incorporate this vegetable into our foods is through this Mysore bonda matar. Thanks to Youtube food blogger “Cook With Parul”, we were able to find the recipe video of this crispy snack with detailed recipe instructions. The preparation of this bonda involves making a thick dough with peas and then frying them until they are golden brown.
How to make Matar Mysore Bonda Bhajji:
You will need to start by making the pea masala. In a blender, add the chickpeas, green peppers, ginger, and garlic cloves. Blend it, you don’t need to form a puree. Keep this aside. In a mixing bowl, add the curd, cumin seeds, curry leaves, baking soda and beat well. Now, add the binding ingredients like maida and rice flour. Next, add the pea, green onion and dhaniya mixture. Add a little water to form a thick dough, let it rest for 10 minutes. Deep-fry the bonds until they are golden brown.
