Taste your way through a variety of pan-Asian flavors at Pa Pa Ya
Indians’ love for Asian food is undeniable and timeless. While we’ve always loved dishes like noodles and Dimsum, there’s also a lot of room to experiment now. Sushi, ramen, Baos and Mochi are too slow to find our favorites. Pa Pa Ya, a modern Asian diner, has long been known as an outstanding brand of European dishes served in a super creative presentation. We recently visited their new store at Select Citywalk, Saket to delight our palates with a multitude of Asian flavors.
Located in the middle of the action on the second floor, the interior is vibrant with Cherry Blossom trees on the roof complemented by some elegant lighting. Reservations can be helpful, especially during peak weekend hours when stores are full. At Pa Pa Ya’s extensive menu represents influences from Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia and Singapore, among others. Trust us, you’ll be spoiled for choice!
We started our meal with Vegan Tantanmen Ramen, a pleasant broth with noodles and vegetables. The Rolling rainbow From the section Sushi Maki Rolls is really enjoyable, full of vegetables and cream cheese, paired with pungent wasabi and pickled ginger. The Asparagus and Burnt Spring Onion Dim Sums Another surprising delicacy on the menu.

Sushi and Dim Sum doesn’t have Pa Pa Ya – there’s also an extensive Tapas section to whet your appetite. If you want something different, we highly recommend it Open Edamame Noodles with Lotus Powder – a soft Bao with a deep fried filling and topped with a delightful selection of sauces. We also tried Crispy lotus stem It has a sweet, spicy taste and comes with a quirky presentation.
Coming to the main course, we tried Yaki Udon Noodles with Seasonal vegetables in Mala sauce. While the noodle dish is quite simple and pleasant, the vegetables are made attractive thanks to the unique sauce.
