Tattersalls renews Craven bonus
The Tattersalls will extend the £250,000 Tattersalls Craven Royal Ascot/Group 1 bonus, as well as the £15,000 Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Bonus Program for the 2022 season.
Royal Ascot Rewards / Group 1 will pay £125,000 to the first Craven Breeze Up winner in the 2-year-old race at this year’s Royal Meeting, with £100,000 paid to owners and £25,000 to suppliers. An additional bonus of £125,000, with the same split, will be paid to the first Craven Breeze Up winner of any of the 15 European Group 1 races open to 2-year-olds. Last year’s 2 year old Native Trail champion (GB) (Oasis dream {GB}), purchasing Craven 210,000gns by Godolphin, won the Group 1 inaugural bonus last year after winning the G1 National S.
“The £250,000 Tattersalls Craven Royal Ascot / Group 1 bonus reinforces our commitment to rewarding holders with multiple rewards,” said Tattersalls President Edmond Mahony. “Last year’s bonus introduction immediately captured the imaginations of owners and coaches and we are delighted that the 2-year-old Native Trail European champion was able to claim £125,000 in cash.
