After end of winter testing in Sweden earlier this year, Rolls-Royce is continuing its Specter EV development program in the south of France ahead of its launch in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Rolls-Royce admits that “this area is very popular with many of the brand’s customers”.
After “rigorous” wind tunnel testing, digital modeling and high-speed testing, Rolls-Royce reduced the Specter’s towing performance by 0.25. Previously it was 0.26.
This is also partly thanks to the aerodynamically designed Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet decoration.
In terms of design, the Specter will have a split headlight design reminiscent of the Phantom Coupé. This will be the first Rolls-Royce to be fitted with 23-inch wheels since 1926.
Beneath the shell, the Specter has a total of seven kilometers of cables to connect and create more than 1,000 electronic functions and powertrains without the need for centralized processing.
Rolls-Royce also says the Specter has a “sophisticated” electronic roll stabilization system that can separate the anti-roll bars in a straight line, helping to prevent wobbling motion when the vehicle hits a winding road.
