Texas Chain Saw Massacre Multiplayer Game Announced
Texas Chain Saw Massacre is now making its way into the multiplayer games space. Today at The Game Awards, a short teaser was revealed. No games were shown, but we did get a glimpse of the quiet little town before Leatherface was known.
The clip, which you can see above, shows Leatherface’s bloody tools, including a yellow chainsaw. As one body turned upside down, it screamed in terror as the chainsaw turned and blood splattered all over its face. “Texas Chain Saw Massacre: a multiplayer horror game based on real events” then flashed across the screen. Maybe it takes a cue from the movie, which advertises itself as based on real events, but the plot is largely fictional with only minor details inspired by the Ed Gein murder.
Fear the Gun and SumoDigitalLtd – Nottingham is behind the multiplayer horror game, which Official Twitter called: “an authentic gaming experience based on the groundbreaking 1974 film.” There are no confirmed platforms at this time.
