The first donkeys reported to the Circus Maximus

• Three-time winner Group 1 Circus Maximus (Ire) (Galileo {Ire})’s first reported ponies arrived earlier this season.
• Fillies of the Shy Bride (Ire) (Excellent Art {GB}), half-sister with three group winners including Gold Away (Ire) (Goldneyev) and Danzigaway (Danehill); and Haida Gwai (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}), the winner herself, were both born in Coolmore Stud on behalf of Barronstown Stud.
• Another stout dog, in addition to Village Gossip (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}) from the family of Classic Crimplene (Ire) winner (Lion Cavern), was bred by Chris McCracken, who described her “a good pony”.
• Dean Harron bred a foal from bet winner Ms Grande Corniche (GB) (Pivotal {GB}).
• Darkest (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}), house sister to G2 Sandown Mile winner and G1 Lockinge runner-up S. Sovereign Debt (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}), gave birth to a pony her first, a pony, at Castlehyde Stud.
• Alamode (GB) (Sir Percy {GB}) placed in Group 3, from the family of Group 1 winner Alborada (GB) (Alzao), created a play for Kirsten Rausing’s Lanwades Stud. Lanwades said, “She was well-boned, precise, and generally very pretty.”
• The half-sister of Hurricane Run (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}), High Fidelity (Ger) (Peintre Celebre), made Anna Martin’s horse.
• The Fountain of Peace of the Niarchos Family (Kris S.), a daughter of the blue mare Coup de Genie (Mr. Prosecutor), produced a foal; while Freedonia (GB) (Selkirk), Group 1 winner, Albigna (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}), hit a pony at Coolmore this week. Champion Alpha Centauri (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) is also taking home double winner Royal Ascot Group 1.
• Circus Maximus stands for €12,500 at Coolmore Stud this season.
