The original PC version of Dark Souls will be offline forever
FromSoftware announced that PC servers for Dark Souls: The Prepared for Death Edition has been permanently taken offline, although the Remastered version will still be restored.
Also confirming that Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin’s PC server will be back up in ten months, FromSoftware said in a tweet (below) that Dark Souls’ infrastructure was initially simply too old to be supported at this point.
“We have determined that we will not be able to support online services for the PC version of Dark Souls: Prepare for Die Edition to be released in 2012, due to an aging system,” it said. “We apologize for the long wait and ask for your understanding in this matter.”
The Prepared for Death Edition is the original PC version of the game, coming out almost a year after the original console version.
Our sincere thanks to those who have been playing Dark Souls since its launch.

Dark Souls: Remastered will finally be back up and running, although it’s still unclear when exactly FromSoftware will restore its servers following a serious exploit – allowing other players to take over users’ PCs – lead to All three games will be taken offline in January.
FromSoftware has released incremental updates since then and restored Dark Souls 3 servers in August. Now that Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin’s servers are back online, FromSoftware’s attention will shift to restoring Dark Souls: Remastered, though It’s still unclear whether it will focus on this version or the base version of Dark Souls 2 first.
Work on restoring online services to the PC version of Dark Souls Remastered is still underway and we will notify you when they are back up and running.
Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

When the initial mining arose just a month ago developer released Elden RingFans looking forward to the match were worried it would affect its multiplayer components. Thankfully, however, the Elden Ring was able to launch without major issues and became an amazing success.
However, it had to deal with some hacking problems, after A notorious hacker of Dark Souls appears in the Elden Ring and tie illegal items to the player’s inventory, making them banned. Even weirder, secret underwear of the game also used by trolls to get other players banned.
