The Shoulder Boy Celebrates The Price Is Right
Last week on Price is rightTwo of TV’s favorite things happened: someone has won big prizes in a game, and an injured guy. Conveniently, both happen within the same 30 seconds.
This is the scene of the contestant Henry successfully guessed the price of a vacation in Hawaii – meaning he won for himself and his family a vacation in Hawaii—then celebrate along the way, dancing all over the place while host Drew Carey raves about in the background:
Sadly, that celebration came at a cost: at some point in the middle of Carey’s high-five and having to spin the wheel, Henry dislocated his shoulder, and while the adrenaline seemed to have carried him through the obstacles. that first happy second, then it’s time for him to be real Spin the wheel Poor guy doesn’t look well.
Looking sheepish and in great pain, Henry had to be helped back onto the stage by a staff member and his wife, Alice, who was then designated as the person to turn the wheel.
Which she did, and did a great job on, an unexpectedly ugly booty TV guest game, landing 95, this spurred other a hand celebrate before Drew has to remind the guy, hey, “don’t hurt yourself”.
The team of the program said “Henry is feeling better and all is well”, and is ready to start his big vacation. To end this (final) happy story, I just wanted to say that, first of all, congrats Henry, I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Second, I want to applaud the NBC writer for twisting this gag into their posts:
She also appears to have a pretty magical touch, dialing 95, showing that she can definitely (dislocate) carry.
And third, damn it, Drew Carey is looking for Great.
