The ‘world’s largest’ freshwater fish was found in the Mekong River, Cambodia
According to scientists, the largest freshwater fish ever recorded was found in the Mekong River in Cambodia.
Weighing in at 300kg (661lb), the giant manta ray was studied and tagged before being released back into the river.
The scientists said the discovery was ”absolutely astonishing. ”
