These are the Nordic THQ games that can be played on the Steam Deck at launch
Valve’s Steam Deck launches today, meaning its first wave of customers will soon be gaming on a shiny (and huge) handheld PC looking for things to play. Device can’t play all games and Steam recently launched new library catalog to better label which of your games work on the Deck and which don’t work on the Deck. Publisher THQ Nordic has supported this front by revealing which of their many titles will be playable on the Steam Deck at launch.
In a press release, THQ listed the following headlines as Steam Deck Verified. That means they are fully functional on handheld devices:
- Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition
- Darksiders Genesis
- Desperados III
- This is Police 2
The next titles are Playable Steam Deck. Here is the step below Verified Status because while these games work on the device, they may require some manual tweaking for them to run at full capacity:
- Battle Chasers: Nightwar
- Biological substances
- Darksiders: Warmastered Edition
- Destroy all humans! (2020)
- Elex
- Expeditions: Rome
- MX vs ATV All
- Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated
- This is the police
There are currently more than 300 titles confirmed to be playable on the Steam Deck, and that number will grow as Valve and the developers work to get the games running on the handheld. Other confirmed titles include Persona 4Dota 2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Inscryption and Valheim.
