Tweenhills Takeaway Vans at Tattersalls raise £8,500 for racing welfare
Tweenhills and Qatar Racing once again hosted Tweenhills Angus Burger and Tweenhills Coffee trucks at Tattersalls December Foal and Mare Sales to raise funds for racing welfare. The vans have raised £8,500, which is donated to charity.
David Redvers, owner and chief executive officer of Tweenhills, said: “We are delighted to be able to support Racing Welfare during these extremely difficult times and would like to thank everyone for their habits. “Angus Tweenhills beef is produced from grass-fed herds raised at Tweenhills alongside stallions, mares and ponies, and expertly prepared by our local butcher.”
Selling a wide range of burgers, breakfast sandwiches and barista-style coffees, these vans have now raised more than £23,000 for racing welfare over the past three years.
Dawn Goodfellow, chief executive officer of Racing Welfare, said: “Thank you very much to Tweenhills for their continued support once again in this important fundraiser for Racing Welfare. “As a charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters so we can be there for the racers when they need us and the impact of this donation will have a profound effect. spread during a particularly difficult time for many.”
