Ukrainian forces destroy Pantsir-S1 air defense system in Nova Kakhovka
The Ukrainian military destroyed the Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system east of Kherson.
Photos shared on social networks show the burned down Pantsir-S1 air defense system in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region.
It is clear that the Russian-made Pantsir-S1 air defense system was attacked by a radar-killing AGM-88 HARM missile.

According to a team of researchers at Blog Oryxwho calculated the damage of Russian military equipment in Ukraine based on photos sent from the front lines, the Russian Armed Forces lost 9 Pantsir-S1 air defense systems.
The truck-mounted Pantsir-S1 air defense system is armed with both short-range surface-to-air missiles and 30mm automatic cannons and is designed to protect ground installations against a variety of weapons including fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, ballistic and cruise missiles, precision-guided munitions and unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the CSIS Missile Defense Project, the baseline Pantsir system can hit tactical aircraft at a maximum range of 20 km and at an altitude of 10 km, subsonic cruise missiles at a range of 12 km and at altitudes. 6 km, and high-speed air-surface-to-surface missiles at a range of 7 km and an altitude of 6 km.
