Popular music China Publishing (UMP China) has signed an exclusive global publishing agreement with China-based RYCE Publishing.
RYCE is the publishing arm of music and entertainment company RYCE Entertainment, which includes over 700 C-Pop and K-Pop songs.
UMP China will be exclusively responsible for the global management of hundreds of popular songs as part of the deal.
Some of those songs include GOT7 member Jackson Wang 100 waysand I love you 3000; TFBOYS’ User manual for young people and Favourite; Sitar Tan’s Xiao Juan; and Taiwanese-American artist Amber Liu’s Easier Miracle. Jackson Wang.
The partnership also includes Dai China’s rights to hundreds of major K-pop hits performed by Korean artists such as Super Junior, EXO-CBXGOT7, and TWICE.
Under the alliance, RYCE writers and artists will be able to utilize UMP China’s global infrastructure as they seek to engage audiences around the world. UMP said it will also work with RYCE Publishing to expand its list of musicians and producers.
In addition, the two companies will continue to promote K-pop music culture in the Mainland China markets.
