V2 Retail to open 35-40 new stores, recruit 1500 people
The company plans to invest Rs 90-100 crore for expansion
New Delhi: Value retail chain V2 Retail, on Tuesday, announced plans to open 35-40 new stores, each with an area of 4 lakh square feet. Further, they plan to invest Rs 90-100 crore to expand stores and enhance inventory.
The retailer also plans to hire over 1500 people across various areas including sales, marketing, operations and customer services to drive expansion and contribute to the Skill India initiative of the country.
“Our vision matches the enthusiasm and dedication of our newest team members,” said Akash Agarwal, Director, V2 Retail. Emphasizing the importance of these additions, Agarwal added, “As we grow, their contributions will be instrumental.”
V2 Retail offers a wide range of clothing across multiple categories under one roof. It is available in 17 states through 96 stores in major cities as well as small towns.
