We all know paneer makhani; well, veg makhani just gives a vegetable rotation to it. Crispy veggies are soaked in cashew cream tomato curry to make this delicious recipe. Veg Makhani Recipe: How To Make Veg Makhanwala
Saute cauliflower, potatoes, beans, carrots and chopped peas. Keep this aside. Soak cashews in hot water for 30 minutes. Grind the soaked cashews, chopped tomatoes, ginger and garlic to make a puree.
Heat butter in a pan. Stir-fry tej patta and cashew ketchup. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and stir-fry to absorb the spices. Pour in the water and add the green chillies. Let it cook for a while. When it thickens and add sauteed vegetables, garam masala, sugar, salt and cream. Combine this with the gravy and remove it from the flame. Vegetarian makhanwala is ready!
