Borussia Dortmund‘s top striker Erling Haaland scored in his comeback with a volley in the second half as his team went from one goal down to beat VfL Wolfsburg 3-1 on Saturday and temporarily go to the top Bundesliga.
The Norwegian striker scored in the 81st minute after coming on as a second-half substitute after recovering from a hip flexor injury that has sidelined him since mid-October.

With a sixth win in the last seven matches, Dortmund have increased by 30 points, two points ahead of the second-placed team. Bayern Munich, who will take action on Saturday against Arminia Bielefeld.
The two top teams in the Bundesliga will face each other next weekend.
A lot has happened in the past few days. But we played a good game and the result outweighed everything else,” said Dortmund’s Julian Brandt.
Dortmund got out Champions League on Wednesday with a 3-1 loss to Sporting Lisbon.
“We are extremely happy. Now we have a full week to prepare for Bayern and we will go into that game with confidence.”
The wolves took the lead in the second minute Wout Weghorst who headed at close range to complete a textbook break that left Dortmund’s backline exposed.
Dortmund leveled one Emre Can penalty at 35th after captain Marco Reus was brought down in the box by Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix.
Donyell Malen put them ahead with a tear through Reus’ pass to score their third consecutive goal in all competitions.
There was more good news for the visitors, as Haaland came on as a second-half substitute and looked sharper than ever ahead of next week’s big game against the Bavarians.
He needed just eight minutes on the pitch to score his 10th league goal in seven appearances, shooting from close range to become the youngest player ever to hit 50 Bundesliga goals at 21 years and 128 days.
