Rajasthan Minister Rajendra Singh Gudha has been criticized after a video of him saying the roads in his constituency must resemble the cheek of actress Katarina Kaif went viral online. The recently appointed minister was speaking to people in his constituency, Udaipurwati, when someone in the crowd complained about the condition of the roads. He can be seen repeating his comment in the cheers of the audience.
The MLA congress that took place three days ago brought together Sainik Kalyan, Home Guards, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development in the recent cabinet reshuffle of the government led by Ashok Gehlot.

Many social media users called his comments inappropriate and demanded that Parliamentary Secretary-General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who has highlighted women’s issues and promised more political representation for women in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
This is not the first time such a comment has been made. In the past, some ministers have promised to build roads in their constituencies like the cheek of actor and politician Hema Malini.

“The roads in Madhya Pradesh are built just like in Washington. What happened to these roads? After the heavy rain, potholes were everywhere. Currently, the condition of the roads is like stains. smallpox. It seems the condition of the roads has become like Kailash Vijayvargiya’s cheek,” he told reporters in Bhopal.
“These roads will be repaired within 15 days by order of Minister Kamal Nath. Very quickly we will make these roads like Hema Malini’s cheek,” he said.
Chhattisgarh Trade Tax (excise) and Industry Minister Kawasi Lakhma of Parliament made the same comment in 2019. He equated the roads in his Konta constituency with the “cheek number” of politician Hema Malini.
